'Catastrophic flooding hit the Nepal-China border this morning, swallowing towns, roads, and bridges. Nepali police say at least 157 people have been killed, while Chinese state media reports at least three people killed and more than 250 people missing. The death toll is expected to rise. In Nepal, hundreds of tourists are missing, including foreign nationals. According to the Associated Press citing an APAW Tourism Board spokesperson, at least 47 of them are from the U.S.

'Daring helicopter rescues have taken place. One swooped in to rescue a man stuck on the roof of a building in Nepal. The U.S. Geological Survey clarified that a powerful landslide which registered as the equivalent of a 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Nepal-China border this morning, triggering dangerous flooding. Scientists are still working to determine what caused the disaster, but believe a mixture of ice and rock cascaded down a mountain. So, English actor Tim Curry has died. He was 80 years old. His publicist shared a statement on behalf of Curry's longtime manager and friend that he passed away at his Los Angeles home yesterday. An immediate cause of death was unclear. However, in 2012, Curry suffered a major stroke and had been dealing with health problems in the years since. Curry is known for his performances in films Clue and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

He told NPR's Fresh Air in 2005 that the charismatic role of Frank and Further in Rocky Horror was a challenge to overcome. U.S. Officials say Chinese hackers targeted hospitals, U. S. Military networks, the U. S. Senate and more in a major alleged cyber spying campaign. The hacking began in 2018 and has continued through 2026, according to an FBI agent's affidavit in support of domain seizures. CNN Cybersecurity reporter Sean Lyngaas breaks this down for us. Sean, this seems widespread.

Yeah, it was vast, like a lot of things with China. It's a game of numbers, Boris, where they have the resources, the manpower to operate at scale. And in this case, the Justice Department alleges that the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Ministry of State Security were using a tech company to try to cover their tracks, to blend in with normal internet traffic. And it worked for a while until the FBI and other intelligence agencies were able to unravel it, but it took many years of investigative work. And today, the FBI sees some of the internet domains that this company was allegedly using. CNN tried to reach the company. They haven't responded yet, but it appears to be one of many Chinese tech companies that ostensibly does cyber security, but in reality does cyber insecurity and helping hacking in this case.

At least 14 newborn babies died in one of Pakistan's deadliest hospital fires in recent decades. Rescue sources told CNN the blaze appears to have been triggered by an AC compressor explosion inside the nursery, where the newborn babies were being cared for. The sources said the hospital workers were able to rescue one child. Here's a woman who was visiting family in the hospital.

'There was a lady who screamed and informed us. When I went upstairs, the fire was spread so much that it reached our room. Then I first rescued my nephew, then I evacuated my sister-in-law.

Two sources at Islamabad's Capital Development Authority told CNN that hospital authorities closed the facility's main gates after the fire broke out, causing delays in the rescue operation. But a spokesperson for the hospital denied the claims, calling them factually incorrect. Prince Harry and Meghan are back in the UK along with their two children. That's according to multiple media outlets. It's been six years since the couple moved to the US and left royal life behind. But they're back in the UK as private citizens and won't be resuming any official duties on behalf of King Charles III. A spokesperson for the couple would not confirm the family's movements when CNN reached out. Some Londoners gave mixed reviews on the couple's return to the UK.

'I think they could probably join the other prince, ex-prince, in sharing a place with him because I think they will be viewed with the same disdain by many, many British people.
